If you like knives, you probably head to the knife case at outdoor and hunting supplies stores whenever you are in a store, even if you have to walk across the store to get there.  Being one of those people, myself, I am always looking for something unique enough to catch my eye, as I like things non-typical–which is how I like my racks, too!

Anyway, I came across this phenomenal custom knife made from a jaw bone–with the teeth attached!  I seriously fell in love with this knife, and I am considering having one made for myself from the jaw of the buck I plan to bag next week.  I think the only change I would make, is I would request that the teeth be shaved down a bit so they were not sharp.  I am not a fan of copying other people’s ideas, but this is just really awesome.

If you haven’t heard of Behring Made, they are a custom cutlery company, owned and operated by James Behring, out of Missoula, Montana.  Each tool they make is hand made from start to finish, and made to order upon request.  They give what you want.  The knife pictured below is just one example of their phenomenal work, and you can see more of what they do by liking them on Facebook (click here).

If you are interested in having a custom knife made, you can give James, the owner, of Behring Made a call at (406) 926-1193, send an email to behringmadeknives@gmail.com and visit http://www.behringmade.com for more information.
