Tips Sought on Deer Poached Near Superior

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens are looking for tips on a deer poaching that occurred just east of the town of Superior.

Game Warden Justin Singleterry responded to a report of an abandoned white-tailed buck deer that was shot and then left approximately one mile up Verde Creek Road, accessible from Exit 55 off Interstate 90.

Singleterry reports that the deer was shot and abandoned sometime between between the evening hours of Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Sunday, Nov. 3.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to a conviction.
