Hear the latest hunting and fishing reports from around the state of Montana, from the most recent episode of the Montana Outdoor Radio Show.

December 21st Summaries
-Bill Brown at Bob Wards says area fishing is picking up, Georgetown Lake 8-12 inches of ice doing well on salmon in the deep water and rainbows along the shoreline.
-Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette says there are no reports of ice fishing in the area, but goose and duck hunters are doing well.
– Chancy at Snappy’s says Lake Mary Ronan has about 8 inches of ice and is fishing well.
-Dale from Don’s in Lewistown says a lot of fish being caught in the area, and Nelson’s go plenty of ice.
-John Harris from Lakeside Resort in Trout Creek says Noxon Rapids Reservoir has good ice & awesome fishing. There had been several 20lbs pike and two that were over 25 pounds at the resort.   
-Leonard from Robert’s Bait 
-Robert from Malta Marine says fishing on Nelson been really good on walleye, pike, and perch.
-Ron Aashiem says the big news is the tentative 2014 FWP adaptations for hunting next season.
Shelby says the ice on Clark Canyon is thick and the fishing is really good. The Clark Canyon Fishing Derby is set. 
-Ryan of Bob Wards in Bozeman & Butte reminds us fish are more lethargic in colder weather so go deeper to get more action. In Helena be careful of the ice and measure it before venturing on it.
– Shelby says the ice on Clark Canyon is thick and the fishing is really good.
-Jan Stauder of Kirkland Resort reports on the up coming Hebgin Lake Ice Fishing Tournament in January
