On the subject of ice fishing, check out this nice perch that Keyvin Day, of Missoula, caught while doing some hard water angling over the holidays at Stillwater Lake. It looks like a monster, but Keyvin is a pro, without even trying to be, with taking photos of the fish he catches. The trick he used for this particular fish is that the beer can is an 8-ounce beer can. It actually wasn’t even planned, but the smaller can sure does make that perch look huge. That’s still a pretty darn nice perch! Nice catch, and good call bringing the 8-ounce cans! I need to remember that for my next trip out and avoid picking up tall boys.
