Hunting:
Spring Bear season starts April 15th and Spring Turkey starts April 12th. Mountain lion season (with hounds) ends April 14th. Please review your regulations for specific details on the areas you plan on hunting. And make sure to bring pictures down of your successful hunts and post them on are bulletin board.

Fishing:
Canyon Ferry Lake: Ice has pulled away from the shore line, so unless we get a big freeze ice fishing is wrapped up on Canyon Ferry Lake. However, there is some shoreline fishing that can be done but you may still get some iced over line so bring something to clear your rod every now and then. Try snap jigging some small spoons tipped with maggots/meal worms or try pulling some small spinners tipped as well. Below the dam is fishing well; try throwing some spoons tipped with a night crawler or if you are fly fishing try throwing wired San Juan worms or bead-headed Ray Charles.

Missouri River: Water flows have increased making wading a bit more challenging but this also has filled in some channels. Nymphing is still the ticket on the Missouri and pink colored nymphs seem to be getting some good hits. Try throwing some bead-head Ray Charles, some pink scuds, and even some wired San Juan worms.
