Photography at Its Finest: Part 2 – Best of the Best Wildlife

This is a pretty awesome shot of a grizzly bear fishing. That fish doesn’t even have a clue…or maybe the bear doesn’t have a clue…

I have felt like this at times, but it has never actually happened to me…nor have I ever seen this happen to anybody or any animal before. I’m assuming he was running from something and he didn’t just wake up on an ice island…

The other day, I was riding my motorcycle on the highway, and a fly slammed so hard into my helmet, or maybe it was the other way around, that it sounded like a rock. Seeing this poor guy with the antler growing out of the bottom of his eye socket made me think of how I might feel if I didn’t have a face shield on my helmet…

One buck, Two bucks, Three bucks, Four…

Mutant deer? Photoshopped?

Great shot of a polar bear about to emerge…that looks so cold to me..

This might not have been the best place for this buck to take a nap. I wonder if he is injured and ran to this ledge..

Either that mouse is not very observant, or that owl is EXTREMELY stealthy…or maybe both

Nature’s camo. This makes me wonder how many owls I have seen without even knowing..

Shoot, or help get him out of there and release him?

Thumper and Bambi…who knew the were real?

Something tells me this bear will not be hungry for a while…

We can learn something from animals. TEAMWORK!

Not sure how this will end…I suppose it depends how high up the kitty is…

Which animal do you think backed down first?

If you’ve ever wondered how alligator tastes, then maybe you should ask a hippo..

How a photographer got this shot is beyond me, but it looks like there was quite a struggle to bring this buck down…

Huh. Bullwinkle apparently likes cats. Unless that’s not a happy sniff on the moose’s part…

I think this snake would freak me out way more than the big ones…

Just another day of work!

This might be a great way to get that bear you are after…just set up a tree stand and sit on the ground and wait…

I have a feeling that monster non-typical buck in the field told this bird to sit right here…

Please be careful of what you leave outside, especially if you live out of town, as animals can find a way to get into everything..

“I swear there was a pick-a-nick basket here”…

This really happened… (see below for closeup)

Just taking the road less traveled…
