Pheasants Wasted and Dumped East of Great Falls

State game wardens are seeking information regarding the dumping of nearly two dozen dead pheasants east of Great Falls.

Wardens were notified May 7 of a pile of dead pheasants at the intersection of U.S. Highway 89 and Hastings Road. They found 20 roosters and three hen pheasants.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call Fish, Wildlife and Parks game wardens Kqyn Kuka, 750-3574, or Tegan Winters, 788-8552, or 1-800-TIPMONT. Informants are kept confidential and maybe eligible for a reward.
