MISSOULA – The 3rd Annual Babes N Bullets shooting event, a women only event, was held May 31st at the Deer Creek Range in Missoula. Over 100 participants came together for this event from as far away as Florida. The $100 ticket provided a full day of shooting a variety of firearms, learning self-defense techniques, lunch from Jakers, a goodie bag full of wonderful gifts, and entry to an after party at the Holiday Inn Downtown. All proceeds from the event again benefit Tough Enough to Wear Pink of Montana. Bob Ward’s teamed up with the Holiday Inn Downtown, Culligan Water, Jakers, Mark LaRowe photography, and several shooting sports brands to raise funds supporting breast cancer awareness.

The shoot was the largest in its 3 year history with over 100 participants, officially blowing past expectations and even surpassing the sellout goal. The after party raffle and auction added to the funds raised by several thousand dollars. A total accounting is not yet available but initial numbers suggest around $14,000 was raised for Tough Enough to Wear Pink of Montana.

Some quotes from participants:

“I’m addicted now!”

“The pepper spray demonstration was really informative.”

“This is my 3rd year back and it keeps getting better!”

“Does that one come in pink?”

Next year’s date has not yet been set, but rest assured the 4th Annual Babes N Bullets will again aim to be the biggest in the series.
