Take the family fishing for National Fishing & Boating Week, June 1-8!

National Fishing and Boating Week, a national celebration of fishing and boating, highlights the importance of recreational boating and fishing while enhancing people’s’ quality of life and preserving our country’s natural beauty.  Fishing can help you de-stress and connect with nature, along with helping to conserve our state’s aquatic areas, as that is what fishing licenses and boat registration fees go toward.

Mentoring or teaching somebody new to fish is also a great way to get people more involved with fishing and boating!  The main reason people don’t go fishing or boating is because no one invited them, so invite your friends and family–especially if they are new to fishing and boating!  Your invitation could lead to a lifetime of love for fishing and boating.

See you on the water!
