OMG! I can’t believe it! Montana Grant’s top lip is hairless. This is the first time in 17 years that sunlight has touched Montana Grant’s lip!
The last time he shaved his mustache, his wife screamed, his daughter didn’t recognize him and his son thought he was a pervert. Why shave his mustache now?
As we age, things turn grey. Even the Captain knows this so he shaves his head. The grey finally reached my lip. What to do? Shave it off! I was inspired by a photo of Billy Ray Cyrus without a mustache but retaining his “soul patch”. Don’t tell my wife, she hates Billy Ray.
A man is defined by his appearance. Grey hair shows age, fat bellies show lack of exercise, and no mustaches show youth. Yes, Montana Grant is getting older, but he is getting wiser and better looking kind of like the “Most Interesting Man in the World”!
When my wife saw my “hairless lip” yesterday, she freaked! “Why didn’t you warn me she shrieked”! I told her that I saw a “country singer” without a mustache and a hairless lip and she thought that was nice. After 35 years of marriage. Do you really expect your wife to listen to you?
So anyway, Montana Grant has a new look and now feels as strong as a Bull! All of us go through an evolution that requires change. We are just not comfortable with the same routines and looks. Change is a good thing that is a challenge for some. Make the process of change fun and new!
It is ok to fish a new stream or lake, hunt a new mountain, or shave your mustache. We only have so many adventures in our DNA, so make the most out of them.
Life is short and our health and capabilities change with age. Take advantage of every opportunity to mix things up and keep up with the herd! The alternatives are not acceptable. Shave something, get a tattoo, and show the young bucks how it’s done.
