The Captain was joined by his good old friend Matt Mackinaw for a day of fishing on Canyon Ferry Reservoir Wednesday.  The duo hit the water at about 10am and the bite was on!

Fishing the south end of the lake, they used small smiley blades with a slow death hook and couple of beads and a small green or orange corky.  The smiley blades were chartreuse with black specs and orange with black specs.

They caught 25 fish and kept a few for eating.  The biggest were 24 inches and 20 inches, although most were in the 15-16 inch range.
