There is “a bit of spruce moth action on Blackfoot and Rock Creek.”  Mountain Man suggests that you find a good run and fish it, but be patient.  The best time to be out is from10 am to 1 pm.

On the Upper Bitterroot River, dry fly fishing seems to be more consistent than last week.  Mountain Man also said that the medium-sized dry fly attractor patterns are working there.

Good luck Rock Creek, Blackfoot and Bitterroot fly anglers!
