Western Living History is a non-profit organization that exists “for the purpose of educating and exposing individuals to the rich history of the 1800’s through historical reenactments, lectures, etc. A volunteer run organization, it coordinates with other like-minded groups across Montana.”  Their primary event is The Ol’ Wild West Fest, which is a family-friendly event held every August.  This year, the two-day event takes place on Friday, August 1st, and Saturday, August 2nd.  Here’s some more information on this upcoming event from Western Living History’s website (www.westernlivinghistory.org):

The Ol’ Wild West Fest is the primary event of Western Living History. Held every August, volunteers from across the West converage to help put on this family-friendly event.
