The Captain and his crew had another great week at Fort Peck out of Hell Creek. Jim Johnson from Hi Country Snack Food in Lincoln and TIm Frost the Captains brother in law from Rapid ended up taking home their limit of nice 18-22 inch walleyes…The fishing was excellent with many days the catchable fish added up well over 50. They pulled bottom bouncers and worm and leech set-ups. Slow death hooks on the crawlers worked well and a green and red bead in front of the single hooked leech did the trick. Most all the fish were caught in 20 feet of water with a few caught in 14 feet. trolling speed was 1mph  Warm weather is starting to slow the bite up a little. Temps have been in the 90’s the last couple of days

It was windy Thursday and the bite was off. Johnson and the Captain will be targeting smallmouth bass Friday before they head home on Saturday.
The MT Gov Cup walleye tourney will take place out of Fort Peck Friday and Saturday. you will be able to view day results when we get them on montnanaoutdoor.com.
The Captain will do the Montana Outdoor Radio Show live Saturday morning from Hell Creek Marina.
