The Milk River Wagon Train is an annual community event that was launched by locals in 1969. The oldest continuous wagon train in the west pulls out on its 46th excursion. It is an  old time feed and dance, and a way to spend time with friends, family and their horses.

The celebration will start with a wagon train race and end up with a community dinner  and an old time dance with live music at 9pm. There will also be an auction, door prizes, and games. No fees or registration, just days of good wholesome outdoors fun with horses, teams, wagons, barbecue and people who love ’em all.

Bring your saddle horse, wagon, buggy, and don’t forget your kids!  Don’t forget, dinner’s on us Sunday night, for you folks that have joined our train, throughout the week and landowners of course.

We will be ~3.5-4 miles north of malta past westside. The route had to be changed slightly this year because of heavy rain last week. Due to that, we will have a hub camp there (stay in the same camp each night).
We will finish out the week on Labor Day, in true tradition, with the parade in Malta
Maps with the route and camp changes can be picked up at at Westside, Little Ott’s, and The Stockman.
