Hunting:
Hunting seasons are fast approaching so please review regulations for specific areas you plan on hunting. Once you have your trophy animal make sure to bring pictures down of your successful hunts and post them on are bulletin board.

Fishing:
Canyon Ferry Lake: The Lake has turned over and the algae is pretty thick. Mornings and evenings are the best times for fishing. Since the algae is so thick bring some lures with flash. For walleye bring you glass or metallic Rapalas in greens/orange or blue/pink. The metallic or glass will give you better visibility in the water while the green/orange will imitate a perch and the blue/pink will imitate a rainbow trout. For trout try trolling some silver or gold Cowbells with a metallic spoon.

Missouri River: The big “Mo” is fishing well through mid-July. Trico’s have been a go to in the mornings. Hoppers are out in force and you can also have some luck with beetles or ants. Dry flies are still more productive then the terrestrials but it’s a good idea to bring a few hoppers or ant with you as some fish are keying in on hopper patterns. We’d also recommend throwing some Caddis in the early evening through late afternoon.
