This is a celebration of Chinook’s agricultural heritage based on sugarbeet farming and honoring other aspects of agriculture and the area’s business industry.
Many events are planned for the Sugarbeet Festival in Chinook. Starting Friday the vendors will be displaying their wares. Saturday will be a big day on Main Street. Plans are to kick off the day with a 3-mile and 1-mile fun run/walk.
Activities planned throughout the day are kid’s games, car show, local musicians in the parks, sugarbeet growing contest, a parade with a barbecue and dance.
