The Captain recently spent his week with Burke Ranch Outfitters, in search of the elusive wapati. Though his week was well spent, he was not able to connect with an elk and punch his tag.
One member of the hunting camp was able to down a bull.
Sauger Steve Knudson shot his first elk ever with a bow today with Kelly Burke from Burke Ranch Outfitters. Knudson is pictured on the right, and Bill Fitzgerald from Billings is on the left. Burke called in the nice 6×6 bull elk for a 20 yard shot.
Sauger Steve and Fitzgerald are hunting with Jim Nichols from Billings and the Captain this with Burke Ranch Outtfitters. Congratulations to Sauger Steve!
