How Close Is TOO Close?

pulpitrockMontana is full of cliffs, dangerously steep valleys and very tall mountain peaks, and, for those who love the outdoors and all it has to offer, many people love taking things to the limit to see how far they can push boundaries.  People visiting the 1,982-foot cliff named Pulpit Rock in Norway tend to take things to the limit, too.

A recent article on grindtv.com reveals a controversy over a photo that was taken by another tourist of what appears to be a couple with their baby that allows their young child to get dangerously close to edge.  Apparently, this photo has made its way around the internet, and there are now advocates trying to get a protective fence implemented around the edge of the top of Pulpit Rock, as it is one of the most popular and most photographed attractions in the country of Norway.  Do you feel a fence is necessary, or do you feel it would take away from the natural attraction?  What if this were in Montana, would it change your opinion?

Check out the photo of this family photographing their very young child dangerously close to the edge of Pulpit Rock.  What do you think?  Too close, or nothing to be concerned about?
