THE RULE OF T(H)REES

Knowing your abilities and limitations is as important as knowing where the big bulls are bedded. Be prepared in case you face a threatening situation. If you do become lost or injured hug a tree and know the RULE OF T(H)REEs.
Do You Know the “Rule Of 3s”?
The human body can survive for:
3 Minutes without air
3 Hours without shelter
3 Days without water
3 weeks without food
If you become lost or injured hug a tree like this (stay put) and know the… RULE OF T(h)REES!
Carry a simple survival kit that includes the following items to cover the RULE OF THREES!
- Plastic tarp/space blanket
- Signal Mirror
- Nylon Cord
- Drinking Container
- Medication (If Needed)
- Water Filter or purification tablets
- Plastic Whistle
- First Aid Kit
- Fire starter
- Waterproof matches/lighter
- Pocket knife
- Extra Clothes (socks, rain gear, warm shirt and pants)
- Extra Food and Water
- Flashlight and batteries
- Large orange colored plastic bag – useful as an emergency shelter, signaling device or rain shelter
- Map and compass and the ability to use them
Be safe out there and always be ready to face the elements by preparing for the RULE OF T(H)REES.
