“The Ghost Swimmer unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) developed by the Chief of Naval Operations – Rapid Innovation Cell project Silent NEMO undergoes testing during an event at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story, Virginia. Filmed on December 12, 2014.”  (via youtube.com)

This is an aquatic drone.  Off the bat, I foresee some potential issues.  For example, what happens if a larger fish gets hungry and mistakes this for a real fish?  Or, what happens if an angler reels in this thing–especially if it is somebody the government is spying on with it?  I assume there’s some pretty good encryption with the information it records, and I’m sure they are considering all situations, but it is still pretty clever.
