Today is opening day for Montana’s wolf trapping season, and there are plenty of trappers who are eager to attempt to trap a wolf…or five. The wolf harvest total sits at 94 wolves taken by hunters in the state, as of the early morning of December 15th. Watch for our next wolf harvest update to see how Montana wolf trappers are doing, and check out fwp.mt.gov for more information on WMU locations and regulations.
