Waterfowl remains open for one final weekend and ice is getting thicker everywhere you look. Hear the latest outdoor reports from across the state, from the most recent episode of the Montana Outdoor Radio Show.

-Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette describes his weekly article at Montanaoutdoor.com from the Mobile Command Center in Billings.
-Chancy at Snappy’s says the bigger lakes are starting to get ice, and there’s been guys on Bitterroot Lake.
-Dale at Don’s in Lewistown says Ackley Lake has some good ice, and is producing.
-Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says there’s been reports of some nice walleyes caught on Tiber.
-Eddie White with The Minnow Bucket in Huntley says fishing the Tongue River Reservoir has been excellent.
-Jack Baker reports on the Hebgin Lake 4th Annual NAIFC Ice Fishing tournament starting January 18th.
-Leonard from Roberts Bait and Tackle says there’s some good ice out there, but be careful in the warmer weather.
-Mary Beth Kibler of Kibler Outfitting says Ft Peck’s West has good ice. Anyone looking to book a trip call Kibler Outfitting at 406-557-2503.
-Rob from Ronan Sports and Western says there have been some nice catches of perch out of Kicking Horse Reservoir.
-Ron Aashiem has some interesting news from The Sheep Foundation Auctioned off the one and only sheep license. You can get more info at www.fwp.mt.gov.
-Ryan from Bob Wards says The Lower Madison is a great Winter option for area fisherman. In Butte the Georgetown is producing kokannee out of Denton’s Point near the pump house. In the Helena, Canyon Ferry has good ice around the Silos.
-Tyler from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon there are 99 teams participating in the 3rd Annual Coyote Derby this January 16th to 18th.
