Clearwater Steelhead Fishing Report

Dan Greer from Florence Montana is fishing steelhead this week in Idaho. He sent this picture of this 33 inch female beauty to Scott Arnold who passed it along montanaoutdoor.com that he caught on the South Fork on the Clearwater River.

Greer reports that the river is dropping and clearing up. According to Arnold,  Greer is in a boat and drifting egg sacks, “He is running up stream in his jet boat then drifting egg sacks on the bottom through the holes. If the weather holds, Greer thinks the fishing will only get better as the week goes by.
