News Flash! There are no Pompano in Montana.
I have been taking my niece fishing since she was four and on a recent family vacation to Florida Hannah, now 15 (I have no idea where 11 years went…) caught this big pompano on a live shrimp.
What’s this got to do with Montana? Well, I live in Montana and took my niece fishing and she caught a bruiser of a fish and it fought like crazy. Watching her reel in a big fish was awesome – and as an uncle I get to brag. As an Outdoor Writer I get to write about it.
