Spring Hunting and Fishing Reports for Montana – Week of 4/25/15

Even with the slight chance of rain and snow this weekend, it still looks like it is going to be another great weekend for being outside. Find out all the latest hunting and fishing reports from arounf the state, from the most recent edition of the Montana Outdoor Radio Show.

-Bill from Rock Creek Marina says the Dry Creek is picking up on Northern Pike and walleyes.
-Bill Brown at Bob Wards says folks are doing really well on Brown’s Lake.  In Hamilton afternoon fly fishing has been good.
-Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette says they had the 1st Meeting on Hellcreek State Park Proposal, and describes his weekly article at Montanaoutdoor.com.
-Chancy at Snappy’s says the fishing is getting better with the nicer weather.
-Charlie from Don’s in Lewistown says the Might Mo’ is good.

Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says things are good out at Tiber Dam, but better when fishing shallow.  
-Joe Herbald reports on last week’s Walleye tournament.
-John Harris from Lakeside Resort in Trout Creek says the walleye, bass, and pike are hitting.
-Leonard from Roberts Bait and Tackle says Holter is producing a lot of trout and perch right now.

-Ryan from Bob Wards says in Helena says the Might Mo’ is hot for Baetis below the dam, in the Bozeman area fishing with caddis on the Madison River has yielded welll, but stay off the REDs, In Butte the fishing on Clark Canyon has been fair.
-Tammy from Northwest Sports in Eureka says the weekends have been nice with the nicer weather.

Tom Davis of the Wise River Club talks about the Tongue River Lodge and area fishing.
Tyler from the Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says Clark Canyon is slowing down from the shore, and those trolling are doing okay out there.
-Woody from Woody’s Lures in Townsend says it is nice out there from the shore or on the the lake, and White Sulphur Springs is fishing really well.
