Heath Helgert of Victor Montana received his new bow from Howard Hill Archery in Hamilton along with arrows on Wednesday and Thursday arrowed this nice tom. It had an 8″ beard and “bitterroot spurs” as Heath referred to them. And as every turkey hunter knows, wild turkey makes fine table fare!
His favorite lady Nikki arrowed her first turkey earlier this spring season so now that they are tagged out they will be hunting bears! This successful hunting duo hunt together every chance they get and enjoy their time afield, whether tags are filled or not.
