The Float Smart program became public in 2012 to bring awareness to this recreation activity. The Float Smart program is the boating & education workshop taught across the state of Montana for anglers or water recreationists who use one-person inflatable pontoon boats or for those who are considering purchasing one. The Float Smart program is dedicated to the advancement of safer floating adventures through education, outreach and training.
T.E. Lewis is the founder of Float Smart and the Float Smart Workshop designed to bring awareness to the exciting recreation activity of inflatable pontoon boating. Float Smart is a dynamic discussion of inflatable pontoon boat navigation, equipment and safety concerns that has been taught across Montana. Lewis now brings this awareness message including in-the-field examples to you with the thought-provoking Float Smart guide.
