Missoula area rivers are starting to rise again. Last week we had mixed reports on Bitterroot and Clark Fork-some dry action with March Browns and still a bit of action on Skwala patterns.
Rock Creek is rising too-but fairly good action on small streamers and wonder buggers. Missouri River great during cloudy days with small BWO patterns-but very difficult on the windy days-winds gusting up to 40 mph for three days in a row late last week-which makes for very tough fishing. Still managed to land some nice ones each day.
