The Captain went fishing Wednesday with Alan Evans and his son Aden of Missoula on Canyon Ferry. The walleyes were biting, as they caught 20 fish with the biggest being 20 inches. It was a crawler bite in 6-9 feet of water. Orange and chartreuse colors worked the best in a crawler harness or slow death. They were fishing in the south end between pond 3 and 4. 1 mile per hour seemed to work the best and they also caught a trout for their efforts. Most of the boats were catching fish.
