THE whitefish bite did happen for the Captain on Flathead Lake on Sunday. That is the good news. The bad news is it was only ONE bite. The captain caught this whitefish while fishing with Dick Zimmer and Don Beardsley. They didn’t catch any whitefish so the Captain had to do a selfie of him and the fish. The bite seemed slow on Sunday on the Big Arm and Elmo area for most anglers. There was only a few whitefish reported caught, at least from the anglers that the Captain spoke with on the water.
