In the wake of the possibly illegal killing of the African Lion “Cecil”, Sabrina Corgatelli of Idaho posted pictures of her latest South African hunting trip.  Her trophy kills included an impala, a kudu, a wildebeest a warthog and a giraffe.  The backlash from her posted pictures have included comments with rape and death threats and have sparked many arguments over social media platforms.  Everything she has done has been legal and she is still receiving harsh criticism for her legal hobby of trophy hunting.  Corgatelli was asked about the Cecil the Lion incident and she feels that it is the hunters responsibility for who they put their trust in for the hunt, but ultimately it comes down to the outfitter and guide who are familiar with that hunted area, local wildlife and local hunting laws.  A lot of people do not understand this, but tourists from all over the world come to Montana to hunt trophy elk, deer, bear etc.. They too put their trust in our local outfitters and guides to not only get them a trophy animal, but to do so in a legal and ethical manner.  Hired hunts using our local outfitters not only boosts our economy and supports local families, but helps keep the animal population to a level we see fit.  Click here to read the full article about the Idaho Huntress
