Montana Statewide Fishing Reports 8/15/15

Winds have smoked out most of the state, but the trees are not the only thing on fire. The fish are biting all over Big Sky Country. Hear the latest audio reports from around the state.

-Bill from Bob Wards says the water’s starting to get warm, and so get out early for better results on the Bighole.

-Chancy from Snappy’s in Kalispell says there still a lot out there looking for Lake Superior White Fish.
-Dale at Don’s says Spring Creek fishing is pretty solid.
-Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says it’s been hot out there, and there are still those out on Tiber fishing.
-John at Lakeside Resort in Trout Creek says the Cabinet Gorge is the place to be for walleye.
-Leonard Roberts from Great Falls says Holter has scattered perch, and the walleye are kind of deep.
-Linda from Rock Creek Marina says the Dry Arm has been good.
-Mike Markum of the Stone Fly Fly Shop in Butte says dry fly fishing the Bighole is really good.

Ruth Ann from Tiber Marina says the fishing at Tiber Marina has been good.
-Ryan of Bob Wards says in Bozeman the Upper Madison is best in the mornings, in Butte dry fly fishing has been picking up, and in Helena the Blackfoot River continues to do well in the mornings.
-Tammy of Northwestern Sports in Eureka says with the heat the fishing has slowed down, but there are some still pulling kokannee.
-Todd Young of the Montana Walleye Governors Cup FT Peck says it’s finally becoming a good year for king salmon fishing.
-Woody Schuler of Woody Lures in Townsend says there are some fishing’s going on out there.
