How Trappers Save Montana Millions of $$$
By Toby Trigger
Bob Kubiak is one of a few thousand active Montana trappers who chooses his profession carefully. As a trapper Bob is often asked by the state and County Highway Departments to remove nuisance animals when they pose a risk to private or public safety.
Here Bob is shown holding a 56 pound beaver trapped recently in Ravalli County.
Trappers often remove these beaver for little or no money at a fraction of the cost for state employees to maintain alternative means like beaver deceivers or routine backhoe work.
Thanks Bob for helping out the state of Montana through trapping!
