A husband and wife from Kalispell not only went a long way to hunt elk but once they got to their hunting grounds in southwest Montana they shot their elk with long distance shots.

Josh Tkachyk and his wife Kerrie shot a bull and cow respectivley on the opening weekend.
Kerrie’s shot was 812 yards for her cow and Josh’s 6 point bull was bagged with a 489 yard shot.  Both hunters practice with long range equipment and the practice paid off this year.
GREAT WORK, GUYS!
