Rock Creek Marina-Bill 1-406-485-2560
Bill said, “we have no ice.  We have 4 inches of snow. No one went fishing
this week. I got a call from a guy who wanted to know if he could get his
boat in and I said the real problem might be getting up the ramp.  You
would need chains to get up it.”  “The Marina is closed now.  The cabins
and campground will be open for a while.  We will have some fuel and ice
if I am here, “Bill said.

Tongue River Reservoir /Bob
Bob says, ”The sun is out and the wind is blowing.  On land we have 6
inches of snow. Jordan says the South end has 5 inches of ice under the
snow. Don’t know what that will do to the ice this week. Ice is forming
on campers point but not ready to walk on.  Sand point has just started
with a little ice. Roads are real snow packed and slippery. The highway
is poor conditions. The Marina is open on Friday.  The minnow machine is
up and running. The campground at Campers Point 1 to 8 is still open
and has electricity and will have it until April 15th for fishermen. ”

Tongue River Marina  1-406-757-2225 Wade Stephanie /Warden Jordan Straley
“We had 10 huts on the ice over this week.  Fishing was slow.  I was told
ice was 6 to 10 inches. They caught lots of crappies. Only a few walleye.
I am open for fishermen now. Our hours will be 6 am
to 1 pm Friday and Saturday. On Sunday I will open at 6 am but not sure my
closing time.  I have beer, pop, minnows, tackle and soup,” Wade said.

less than a week ago because of wind. At that time I heard there was ice
at Devils Creek and Nelson Creek. I know of a few guys getting a couple of
northern pike.  Some caught some lake trout at Crooked Creek.  The road
has not been bad.  They are talking about blading close to us because of
the warm weather today,” Clint said.

“This week there is very little ice on Nelson. You could see black spots
out on the water yesterday (Tuesday) when I was there.  There were no
good ice conditions.  Some of the small bays have started to ice up but
only crazy people would get on it.  If the weather stays could I suspect
