How well do you know Montana’s wildlife? Can you identify the type of animal to which this paw belongs? If you guessed grizzly bear, then you can guess again. If you give up, then you can now rest in peace knowing it is a porcupine. Joe Michels was checking his coyote set and spotted this little buggar in his trap. Not too long after he got this one, his trapping partner caught a porcupine, too. For somebody who had never seen a porcupine before, this was a pretty big deal. Very cool.
