Huge Snow Levels Driving Wildlife Into Residential Areas

Here in Montana it has been a fairly steady snow year so far, but in some parts of Idaho, it has been a record year.  With the snow levels rising, the high mountain animals are being driven lower and lower to find food.  A resident in Idaho heard a loud crash and went down into his basement to check it out and found himself staring at a 600 pound cow elk.   The elk had fallen through an egress window into the basement.  It apparently took 2 1/2 hours to lure the elk out, but it did so uninjured.  Check out this slide show below.  All information and photos provided by:  WPXI
