idahoelkIf you’re wondering how some elk in Idaho stay warm during the cold winter temperatures…well, now you know!  Check out this interesting story from 9news.com

A homeowner in Wood River Valley was woken up around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 when a cow elk fell through the basement window well and ended up in the basement. After several unsuccessful attempts to get the elk out of the home, Blaine County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Fish and Game officers drove the uninjured elk up the basement stairs and out the front door by funneling the elk through with a furniture barricade.

I wonder if homeowner’s insurance covers elk damage…
