With just two weeks left in Montana’s wolf trapping season, wolf trappers in the state are taking full advantage of the extra day of trapping the leap year gives them. Montana’s wolf hunting season ends on March 15th. The numbers as of February 14th were resting at 180 wolves being harvested so far, with 57 being harvested by trappers and 123 taken by hunters.
