For anyone who has made the trip on HWY 93 S, you may have seen a strange billboard. The billboard is located between Lolo and Missoula, and features a cowboy fly fishing with a crank bait, for a large mouth bass. At first glance you really wouldn’t think anything of it, but after some time, it starts to eat at you. “Where can you fly fish with crank bait for bass in the Bitterroot valley?”
Well, apparently I am not the only one that was left scratching my head. The Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce has had the billboard corrected to show the proper species of fish, as well as the proper tackle.
