The Captain and Downrigger Dale are fishing Fort Peck at Rock Creek Marina. They are not lighting the walleye world on fire, but they managed to catch a few on Saturday and Sunday with the biggest being 17 inches.
However, there are some anglers that have been doing well on the walleyes. Several walleyes were caught in the 28-31 inch length. They are fishing deep at 30-36 feet. It seems to be a minnow bite, but leeches have produced, too. The water temp is rising and is currently 54 degrees.
The Captain and Downrigger still have a couple of days to get into a walleye bite, so stay tuned!
