Introductory Fly Casting Class – May 24

Beginning fly anglers are invited to attend a free 90 minute Introductory Fly Casting Class held at Spring Meadow State Park, and hosted by the Montana Wild Education Center. The class will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, from 6 – 7:30 pm.

Matt Wilhelm, a Federation of Fly Fishers Master Casting Instructor from Livingston Montana will teach the clinic. With over 20 years of casting instruction, Matt has taught thousands of beginners the skills needed to making both accurate and easy casts suitable for Montana fishing. Matt is the Education Director of the Invasive Species Action Network and a fly fishing guide and instructor in Southwest Montana.

All equipment is provided, and there is no charge for the class. Children aged 12 years old and older are encouraged to attend, but must have an adult present with them during the class.
