The Captain and I are back on Fort Peck Reservoir.  We are having a great time catching Walleyes and all kinds of other fish with Jim Johnson from one of our great sponsors Hi Country Beef Jerky and his friend Denny Peterson and several other folks. We are based out of Hell Creek State Park and Hell Creek Marina this week and have picked up some real nice fish down by Timber Creek and Snow Creek. Pictured is me with a nice 25 inch Walleye and Jim and Denny with a 24 inch Walleye and a real nice Smallmouth Bass.
The Captain and I have been bottom bouncing using gold and green smiley blades with green corkys and crawlers and leeches and Jim and Denny have been jigging using cut bait with small rip and raps. Most of the fish have been caught shallow in 5 to 15 feet of water. With the hot temps during the day, the water temp is coming up and the fish are getting a lot more active.
