Hunting season may seem like it is months away, but for some it is just a few weeks! Antlerless elk hunters will begin filling their tags starting August 15th in a few hunting districts. The shoulder seasons were approved by FWP last October for 43 Montana districts where the elk populations were deemed over populated.
