Canyon Ferry:  Rainbow trout anglers are catching fish throughout the reservoir using cowbells tipped with worms, cranks or worm harnesses in 5 to 40 feet of water. Shore fishing for rainbows has been slow throughout the reservoir. Walleye are being caught throughout the reservoir tolling worm harnesses or slow-death rigs, tipped with worms or leeches, in 15 to 45 feet of water.  Jigs (purple and perch colored) tipped with worms are also producing walleye reservoir-wide. Yellow perch are being caught from shore using jigs tipped with worms or worms under a bobber and while trolling for walleye.  Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena

Hauser:  The rainbow action continues to be good while trolling cowbells between Hauser Dam and the El Dorado Bar powerlines. Shore fishing is fair while using worms or Powerbait around Riverside. Walleye fishing has provided some action from shore at the Causeway Bridge on jigs.  Boat anglers are finding good results in the Causeway Arm on jigs or bottom bouncers and a leech.  A few perch are being caught in the Causeway as well on jigs.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter:  Good rainbow fishing continues for those trolling cowbells throughout the reservoir; especially from Split Rock to Holter Dam at depths of 20 to 30 feet.  Shore fishing for rainbows has been fair around Gates of the Mountains on worms.  Walleye are being caught in the canyon around Gates of the Mountains, Split Rock, Cottonwood Creek and the bays by Holter Dam.  Most walleye are being caught on jigs and a worm or leech in 15 to 20 feet of water.  Perch are being caught throughout the reservoir in small bays and around weedbeds in 15 to 25 feet of water while using jigs and worms.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
