We showed you how to smoke the chinook salmon we have been catching out of Fort Peck Reservoir. This weekend Berny cooked some salmon on the grill for the Captain and their fishing crew–and it was absolutely fantastic.
She got this recipe from Alan Tabish from Missoula:
- 1/2 a cup of mayo
- 1 tbl spoon specey mustard
- 2 tbl spoons of soy sauce
- 1 tbl spoon fresh garlic
- 1 tbl spoon of dill paste
- chop some onions to taste
Mix up all the ingredients and spread on the salmon fillet. Put it on the grill. (You can use a cedar plank or aluminum foil) The Captain and Berny prefer the taste of the salmon cooked in foil. And ta da–eat up!
