Thompson Falls residents Paul Fielder and his wife, Senator Jennifer Fielder, escaped the smoke from the Copper King fire last week and did some fishing downstream. It turns out a #2 Swedish Pimple baited with a perch eye is a great way to catch pike.
The duo enjoyed blue skies and clean air for a day. Nice work, Paul!
