Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will lift the fishing closure on the Big Hole River from Saginaw Bridge on Skinner Meadows Road to the confluence of the North Fork Big Hole River and Big Hole River effective Friday (September 30, 2016).

With improved flows, this reach has met the criteria for reopening set by the Big Hole Watershed Drought Management Plan.

The Big Hole River from Notch Bottom FAS to the confluence with the Beaverhead River remains closed to all fishing.
