Early season bow hunters in Montana face a unique situation from hunters in the General season.  When mature step into range but there are fawns with spots tagging along what’s a hunter to do?

Hunters provide a service to Montana motorists and home owners by thinning deer numbers in fact that is exactly why so many over the counter permits are available for archery hunters.

So we want to remove some deer and we want to eat the meat but where do we draw the line?   If you were in the situation shown in this photo what would you do?  Let us know!
